Wes Baker-May has work experience in the IT field. Wes worked at Hoist Finance starting in 2019, where they held the roles of Service Delivery Manager and Hoist Finance Senior IT Operations. In these roles, they were responsible for managing SCCM-related tasks, such as patch management, Windows 10 imaging, and application deployment. Wes focused on automating the system and empowering users with the ability to manage their own applications through the SCCM Client Application Catalog. Currently, they are overseeing the migration from SCCM to InTune/Endpoint Manager.
Prior to Hoist Finance, Wes worked at Robinson Way Limited starting in 2015. Wes held the roles of IT Solution and Support Analyst and First Line Support. In these roles, they provided first-line technical support to network users and handled fulfillment and access management requests. Wes also managed various systems like AD, Exchange, and others for employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
Wes Baker-May began their education journey in 2015 at The Open University, pursuing a BSc degree in Computing and IT. Wes remains currently enrolled in this program.
Throughout their educational journey, Wes has acquired additional certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In November 2015, they obtained an ITIL Foundation certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Later, in June 2018, they received another certification, M10748 Deploying System Center 2012, from Microsoft. The most recent certification they obtained was the ITIL Foundation Certification in IT Service Management (4th Edition) from AXELOS Global Best Practice in July 2022.
These certifications reflect Wes's commitment to professional development and their desire to stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements.
