Mieke van der Wilt serves as the Stafhoofd Onderwijskundige afdeling at Hogeschool van Amsterdam since August 2019, contributing as a senior and educational advisor within the Faculty of Technology. Recognized in November 2022 with the 'Prijs bijzondere prestaties' for exceptional service, Mieke co-developed a platform for MLI students and alumni from January 2022 to November 2023, and participated in the evaluation committee for Comenius Teaching Fellow grant applications from October 2021 to June 2023. Previous roles include policy advisor, core lecturer in visual design, and curriculum innovator at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, along with teaching visual design and creative techniques at Hogeschool Inholland. Mieke's educational background includes a Master of Education and degrees in design management and graphic design, complemented by various professional development courses.
