Judith Elshout is a seasoned academic and researcher with a focus on social work and human capital. Currently serving as a lecturer in Social Work and a senior researcher at Hogeschool van Amsterdam since September 2014, Judith guides students through their thesis projects and conducts research on skills-based recruitment and the welfare system. Previous roles include editorial positions at Amsterdam University Press and significant academic contributions during a PhD candidacy at the University of Amsterdam, culminating in a dissertation on unemployed individuals in a meritocratic society.
