Carin Rustema currently holds a position at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences as part of the Centre of Expertise Just City, focusing on research and education development with an emphasis on cultural and economic justice. Carin has extensive experience in academia, having served at ArtEZ University of the Arts in various roles, including member of the Impact Incubator and Sr. Educator/Innovation Liaison, contributing to business development and educational innovation. Additionally, Carin is the owner and founder of Abroader Consultancy, which operates internationally, and co-founded Stichting Doubleyoutee to support cultural learning initiatives.
