Mathias Blank is a System Architect at hofer powertrain since April 2022, following a position in R&D Drive Systems at Liebherr Group from February 2016 to April 2022, focusing on electrification of heavy-duty machines. Prior experience includes a role as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at the Automation and Control Institute - TU Wien in cooperation with Infineon Austria AG, where digital control and protection concepts for power semiconductors were developed. Mathias Blank also served as a PhD student at Infineon Technologies, focusing on Smart Power Switches, and contributed to developing a partial discharge measurement system for high voltage cables at b2 electronics GmbH. Educational qualifications include a Dr. Techn. in Regelungs- und Automatisierungstechnik, a Diplom-Ingenieur in Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik, and a Bachelor of Science in Elektrotechnik und Elektronik from Technische Universität Wien, along with an Erasmus exchange in Elektrotechnik und Elektronik.
