Zhaoping Zhu's work experience includes roles as a machine supervisor and wheelhouse supervisor at Shandong Harbor Co., Ltd since September 2017. Zhaoping also worked as a chief engineer and second engineer at Hög Autoliners AS from January 2015 until present. Prior to that, they were a second engineer at Xiang Fleet from January 2014 to January 2015. Zhaoping also worked as a chief supervisor at Shandong Harbor Co., Ltd from January 2013 to January 2014. Zhaoping has been employed as a scientist at Shandong Natural Resources Group since May 2018.

Zhaoping Zhu obtained a bachelor's degree in marine engineering from Qingdao Ocean Shipping Mariners College, where they studied from 2002 to 2006.
