Mark von Werder currently serves as Vice President at Hobbs+Black Architects, where responsibilities include project direction and practice leadership, focusing on quality control, best practices, and technical standards. Prior to this role, Mark was an Associate and Practice Leader at NORR, contributing to all phases of design and construction processes. Mark's experience also includes founding lowercase.consulting, serving as Principal/Senior Project Manager at JPRA Architects, and holding various project management positions at Constantine G. Pappas AIA Architecture/Planning and SSOE Group. Mark's career began with volunteer work in the Peace Corps and has evolved through significant architectural roles since the late 1980s. Mark holds a Master's degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University.
