Lyddy Lewis has extensive work experience in the non-profit sector, with a focus on major gifts and development. Since 2019, they have been the Vice President of Development at Hoag Hospital Foundation, where they oversee fundraising efforts. Prior to that, they held various roles at the American Red Cross-North Texas Region, including Senior Director of Major Gifts and Director of Major Gifts. Lyddy also served as the Interim Chief Development Officer at both the American Red Cross-North Texas Region and American Red Cross-Texas Gulf Coast Region. Earlier in their career, they worked at North Texas Food Bank and Hendrix College. Additionally, in 2006, they served as an Americorps Member for Project Transformation, an organization focused on transforming communities through purposeful relationships and ministry opportunities.
Lyddy Lewis earned a B.A. degree in International Relations & Global Studies and History from Hendrix College, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. In 2007, they also briefly attended the University of Oxford to study Literature, History, and Politics. Additionally, in January 2010, they obtained a certification in Gift Planning from the American Red Cross' Gift Planning Training Academy.
