John Lutz is a Senior Principal Architect at HNTB, specializing in aviation architecture planning, design, and construction administration since March 2022. Prior to this role, John contributed as an Architect at McPherson Architecture / Discover Architects, overseeing construction documents for various renovation projects, including professional sports stadiums and high-end residences. John has extensive experience working on aviation, transportation, and transit-oriented developments at Iron Horse Architects and served as Project Architect at HDR, focusing on civic, historic preservation, aviation, and healthcare projects. Earlier positions include Architectural Designer at MaxFour, where John worked on government and military facilities, and various intern architect roles that involved CAD management and project support across several architectural firms. John holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Architectural Technology from Arapahoe Community College, obtained in 1998.
