Aseel Salman is an experienced interpreter with a focus on multicultural communication, currently working at Halton Multicultural Council Inc since April 2015, providing interpretation services for various organizations including Ontario Works, Halton District School Board, Ontario Disability Support Program, ROCK, and Oakville Hospital. Previous experience includes serving as a LINC Instructor at the IWC Immigration Working Centre from January 2017 to January 2019, and as an IBDP Coordinator and English Teacher at The Australian School of Abu Dhabi from August 2007 to July 2013, teaching grades 6-10 and DP Language and Literature for grades 11 and 12. Aseel also taught at Al Bayan Educational Complex for Girls in Doha, Qatar, from September 2004 to June 2007. Educational qualifications include a TESL certification from the Canadian College of Educators in 2015, a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Qatar University, and a Community Interpreter degree from CISOC.
