James Brusca serves as the Global VP of R&D at HM.CLAUSE since September 2015, where previous roles included Vice President of Global Breeding and Plant Breeding Director for the Americas/Pacific. Prior to this, James held positions at Syngenta between July 2008 and August 2015, serving as the Global Cucurbit R&D Co Lead and as a plant scientist. Academically, James is currently pursuing the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD (2024 - Present) and holds a Master of Science in Horticulture from North Carolina State University (2001 - 2003), as well as a Bachelor of Science in Genetics from the University of California, Davis (1992 - 1997).
