Sam Peurifoy is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the technology and investment sectors. Currently serving as Partner and Head of Interactive at Hivemind, a Web3 multi-strategy investment firm, and as CEO of Playground Labs, a gaming content and infrastructure studio, Sam has also contributed as a Core Contributor at KAP Games, focusing on browser and mobile distribution of frontier tech games. Previously, Sam held positions at Goldman Sachs in Global Investment Research - Clean Tech and as a PhD Fellow in Energy. Additionally, experience as an IP Fellow at Columbia Technology Ventures involved evaluating intellectual property from Columbia University's research. Sam holds a PhD in Chemistry from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Mathematics from the University of Miami.
