Rosa Ramos-Kwok joins JPMorgan Chase & Co. as the Head of Technology Risk & Control. She comes to the firm as a dynamic and results oriented Technology Executive with 30+ years held in global roles such as Software Development, Technology Infrastructure Management, Testing, Technology Risk Management, Governance, and Production Management.
Rosa comes to the firm from Bank of America as the Managing Director, Senior Business Executive, Global Technology and Operations. Rosa held various roles at Bank of America – two in Software Development, a Governance role, and also a Chief Technology Officer role. For the last six months, she was the Head of Global Wholesale Banking Technology, AML and Operational Excellence and led the technology software delivery for the Wholesale Banking businesses in Global Banking and Markets (GBAM). She was responsible for leading a global organization and a multi-million-dollar budget to deliver technology solutions for Legal Entity On-boarding, strategic migration to Pega/CLM for Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Customer Relationship Management, and Deal Accounting for Investment, Commercial, Corporate, and Business Banking. Prior the GBAM role, Rosa was the Head of Consumer and Shared Services Operations Technology, she led technology software delivery for the Enterprise Shared Services and Consumer Servicing and Operations organizations. Rosa led the AML program across Consumer and Wealth Management as well as the digitization effort of the Collections and Complaints systems. In addition, as the Global Technology and Operations Transformation Governance she spearheaded the Governance of a multi-million-dollar technology transformation portfolio to modernize the bank’s Software Delivery, Infrastructure Platform (internal cloud), Technology Services Management, and Data Platforms.
Rosa first joined the bank in 2014 as the Chief Technology Officer for the Global Wholesale Bank where she oversaw the migration to IT Services Management as well as implementation of a new Lock Box system. Rosa also co-led the Global Technology and Operations (GT&O) Diversity and Inclusion Forum as well as the GT&O Hispanic-Latino Advisory Council
Prior to Bank of America Rosa had a 25+ year career at Morgan Stanley (MS). At MS, her most recent role was the Managing Director, Enterprise Production Management and Head of Americas Enterprise Infrastructure for Morgan Stanley. She was responsible for the management of the production environment for the Institutional Division, which included End User IT Service Management, Service Desk, Executive Service, Infrastructure support and monitoring services, Institutional Branches Service Management, Enterprise Command Center (Incident, Problem, and Change Management), Service Quality Management, Production Management Technology/Engineering, Technology Training and Disaster Recovery. Rosa was also the chair of the Latino Employee Network.
Rosa has received numerous recognition and awards. She was identified as one of the Top 10 Female Engineers in the US in Business Insider, one of the top 50 Latina's in Corporate America (ALPFA and Fortune), and one of the 100 Most Influential Hispanics in Technology (HITEC). Additionally, she was quoted in Harvard Business Review article (Center for Talent Innovation study).
Rosa has a Bachelor of Arts Degree, Cum Laude from New York University (NYU).
