Sheila Suyama has over 20 years of experience in various finance and project management roles. Sheila has worked at Hitachi Rail as an ETCS Senior Lead Project Controller since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Thales as a Bid & Project Controller from 2019 to 2023. Sheila also served as a Management Accountant at GCE Contractors in 2018 and as a Senior Commercial Project Manager and Senior Business Controller at Siemens Ltda from 2005 to 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Treasury Analyst at Comsat Brasil Ltda in 2005 and at Siemens Ltda from 2003 to 2005. Sheila has extensive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, project control, revenue recognition, and logistics.

Sheila Suyama has a strong educational background in accounting and business. Sheila completed the CPA Program at CPA Australia from 2018 to 2021, earning a degree in Accounting. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Accounting degree from Kaplan Business School from 2016 to 2018. Sheila also holds an MBA diploma from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, where they studied Business Administration and Management from 2005 to 2007. Sheila received their Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo from 2002 to 2005. In addition, Sheila obtained an Associate's Degree in Science and Engineering from the College of Lake County in 2000 to 2001. Before their college studies, Sheila graduated from USA Academy, where they focused on Mathematics during their high school years from 1996 to 1999. Sheila has also earned certifications including the Certificate VI International Trade from ILSC Education Group in 2015, and they are a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) accredited by CPA Australia.
