Andy Davenport is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the signaling and communications sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Signaling Commissioning Engineer at Hitachi Rail STS since December 2019, Andy has previously held significant roles at Ansaldo STS, Bombardier Transportation, LKComstock, and Union Switch & Signal, with expertise ranging from system assurance to project engineering. Notably, Andy has contributed to major projects including the NYCT 5th & Lex Project and the Solid State Upgrade of the Atlanta Airport System. Andy's career also includes foundational roles in the United States Air Force as a Communications Engineer and Microwave Equipment Repairman. Andy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University and has a background in Mathematics from Spring Arbor University.
