Rimmert van Luyn serves as the Head of the Global Supply Chain Group and Vice President at Hitachi Vantara since April 2016, where responsibilities have included leading global supply chain transformation and overseeing transportation, customs, and compliance. Prior to Hitachi Vantara, Rimmert held various leadership positions at Logisteed Europe B.V. from May 2008 to March 2016, including Director Europe and General Manager. Experience also includes roles as Supply Chain Director and Operations Manager at Kodak Graphics Communication Group (2003-2008), European Planner at Bose Corporation (1996-1999), and Trainee at Expac (1994-1995). Rimmert’s educational background includes a BSc in Logistics from The University of Huddersfield, an MSc in General Management from Nyenrode Business University, and additional certifications in high-performance leadership and supply chain management.
