Rik Workman is a seasoned archaeologist with extensive experience in cultural resource management and art conservation. Currently serving as a staff archaeologist at Historical Research Associates, Inc. since June 2015, Workman participates in various projects across the Pacific Northwest. Previously, Workman held roles as a field archaeologist with Archaeological Investigations Northwest and CASCADIA ART CONSERVATION CENTER, LLC, focusing on both archaeological and art conservation efforts. Experience as an archaeological crew chief with Dudek and an archaeological technician II with SWCA Environmental Consultants involved compliance with cultural resource laws and regulations. Workman also contributed as a dynamic product tester for Nike, providing insights into product development through running analysis, and has a background in coaching track and field at Oberlin College. A Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology from The College of Wooster complements Workman’s professional journey.
