Neil Gregory has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Neil has held various roles at Historic Environment Scotland since 2015, starting as an Operational Manager and currently serving as the Head of Outreach. Neil was also the Deputy Head of Engagement during their time there. Prior to that, Neil worked at RCAHMS, where they worked on several projects such as Scotland's Urban Past and the Sir Basil Spence Archive. Neil also served as the Editor for Architectural Heritage at THE ARCHITECTURAL HERITAGE SOCIETY OF SCOTLAND and took on roles at the University of Aberdeen as a Slide Library Catalogue Manager and Art History Tutor.

Neil Gregory completed their Master's Degree in History of Art at the University of Aberdeen from 1991 to 1995.
