David Spence is an experienced professional with a background in administrative support and archiving. Currently serving as an Archives Project Assistant at Historic Environment Scotland since August 2023, David is responsible for sorting through physical material and updating electronic records. Previous roles include positions at SAAS as a Human Resources Administrative Assistant and Administrator, and at the Scottish Government as a PEU Assistant. Additional experience encompasses roles in various organizations such as the National Library of Scotland and MRM Global, focusing on document processing, data management, and customer service. David holds an MSc in Library and Information Science from the University of Strathclyde and a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Aberdeen.
