Maria Barnard is a board member at Theirpanic Unity of Florida. Maria previously worked as the Director of Corporate FP&A at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. from March 2018 to December 2018. Maria was responsible for partnering with Business Development to support M&A, and analyzing potential business opportunities. Maria also worked with JPM and BAML on company sum-of-the-parts valuation and led global planning, including process and systems improvement efforts, timeline development, and global communication. In September 2016, Maria began working for BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. as the Associate Director of Corporate FP&A where they were responsible for key role in financial integration of $8B USD European Company acquired in February 2014, analysis of FX rates, ROIC impact, tax synergies, integration expenses and LIBOR sensitivity effect on debt. Maria consolidated McKesson’s monthly rolling forecast in HFM, analyzed and communicated key forecast vs. actual variances and drivers to Senior and Executive management, and prepared monthly flash reports. Maria also prepared monthly and quarterly Power Point presentations for the Board and Executive management including Financial Review decks, CFO Forecast packages and Cash Flow/Operating Profit dashboards. Lastly, Maria supported the Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan using Hyperion Strategic Finance.

Maria Barnard completed their undergraduate degree at Florida Atlantic University, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and international business. Maria then went on to obtain their Master of Business Administration from the same school, with a focus in business administration and management.
