Marvin Tapia serves as the Code as a Second Language Program Manager at the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, leveraging experience from previous roles including Metadata Coordinator at Spafax and Crisis Intervention Counselor for Sexual Assault at Project Sister Family Services. In the role at Spafax, Marvin coordinated with various teams to meet deadlines, developed Excel Macros for data quality, and produced marketing assets for Delta Air Lines. Marvin's background also includes conducting research as a Student Researcher at the University of La Verne, where contributions involved data analysis and visualization, as well as outreach and database management as a Summer Fellow with Clergy and Laity United for Economic Justice - Ventura County.
