Neel Kant is a Staff Research Scientist at Hippocratic AI since July 2023, focusing on the development of artificial agents for patient-facing healthcare roles, with expertise in audio and text multimodal modeling, multimodal pipeline engineering, large language model (LLM) supervised finetuning, reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF), data acquisition, synthetic generation, and multi-LLM system design. Prior to this role, Neel Kant worked as a Research Scientist at NVIDIA from March 2020 to July 2023, contributing to various projects within the Applied Deep Learning Research organization, specifically in LLM data strategy, RLHF prompt engineering, multimodal foundation models, machine learning for systems, distributed reinforcement learning, and information retrieval. Neel Kant holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley College of Engineering.
