Matthew Honea is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Hippocratic AI since July 2024. With extensive experience as a Venture Advisor for YL Ventures, Greylock, and Glilot Capital Partners, Matthew has contributed to various organizations by leveraging expertise in security and compliance. Previously, as the Head of Security and Compliance at Forward Networks and Head of Security at SmartNews, Matthew played critical roles in shaping security strategies and frameworks. In addition, Matthew has held significant positions at Guidewire Software, where responsibilities included product security and cyber strategy. Educated at UC Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Slavic Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics, Matthew combines technical knowledge with diverse linguistic skills.
