Daniel Pounder is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in the music industry. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Hipgnosis, Daniel has held multiple senior finance roles, including Chief Finance Officer at Kartel Music Group and CYGNUS MUSIC LTD., and Portfolio Chief Finance Officer at The CFO Centre UK. Prior to these positions, Daniel was EVP & Commercial Director at BMG, overseeing financial management and operational functions, and held various executive roles at Sony Music Publishing. Daniel has also contributed to the industry as Chair of the PMAG at PRS for Music. Education includes a Master of Chemistry from the University of Oxford and a Master’s in Charity Accounting and Financial Management from Bayes Business School.
