Sam Castic serves as a Partner at Hintze Law PLLC, where responsibilities include helping clients develop and enhance global privacy programs, with an emphasis on US privacy law and scalable operations. Previously, Sam held the position of Chief Privacy Officer at Blackhawk Network, overseeing the Global Privacy Office and establishing strategies for data privacy in the payment solutions sector. Experience includes a tenure as Senior Director Privacy & Associate General Counsel at Nordstrom, leading privacy compliance for various Nordstrom brands, and roles at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, K&L Gates, and T-Mobile, focusing on data protection, cybersecurity, and marketing legalities. Sam earned a J.D. from New York University School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science and Communications from the University of Washington.
