Robert Childs has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Robert has held various IT roles in different organizations. Robert started their career as a Project Coordinator at IBM United Kingdom Ltd, where they provided project management and consulting services for major clients. Robert then worked at the English National Opera as the Head of IT, responsible for managing the IT infrastructure and implementing central help desk software. After that, they joined THE One as a System Support Manager, where they provided IT support for multiple retail outlets. Robert later became the Group Head of IT at Sharjah Theatres Group, where they designed and established IT infrastructure across multiple locations in the UAE. Robert then worked as an ICT Manager at The Royal Star & Garter Homes, overseeing IT and telephone systems. Following that, they served as an IT Project Manager at the National Theatre, where they planned and executed IT projects. Prior to their current role as IT Director at Hindman Auctions, they were the Head of IT at the Design Museum, where they executed IT strategies and implemented Office 365.

Robert Childs began their education at Bishop Wand School in 1981, where they studied Secondary Education until 1986. Robert then attended Westminster College from 1986 to 1987, where they pursued a degree in Communications. After that, they enrolled at East Devon College from 1987 to 1989 and obtained a BTEC Nat Dip in Business & Finance. Finally, they attended London Guildhall University from 1989 to 1993 and graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in Business & Law.
