Bart Macdonald is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in the technology and software sectors. As the Founder and Managing Partner of Bloom Equity Partners since 2020, Bart focuses on fostering growth in lower-middle market enterprise software and tech-enabled services. Additionally, Bart serves as a board member for companies such as RightCrowd, Soutron Global, and Viostream, while also investing in over 100 early-stage software and technology firms through MacVentures Group. Previously, Bart co-founded SaplingHR, which was acquired by Kallidus, and held the role of Regional Director at General Assemb.ly before its acquisition by The Adecco Group. Bart holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a degree from Macquarie University.
