Lea Winston serves as a Museum Educator at the National Building Museum, starting in March 2024, where responsibilities include leading school tours and family programs focused on the built environment. Concurrently, as a Museum Teacher at Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens, Lea engages visitors with the legacy of Marjorie Merriweather Post through various programs. Previous experience includes a museum education internship at Smithsonian Associates and a resource specialist role at Iona Senior Services. Before these positions, Lea worked as a Program Officer at DKT International, focusing on fundraising, and held various educational roles, including teaching Spanish and leading art programs. Lea holds a Master's in Teaching with a concentration in Museum Education from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor's degree in History from Carleton College.
