Ingmar Grebien is a Managing Director and Head of Commodities Sustainable Solutions at Goldman Sachs, with over 15 years of experience in structured finance and strategic investments across the commodity sector. Grebien has contributed to building businesses in clean energy and carbon markets while serving as a member of the Goldman Sachs Global Markets Sustainability Council. Additional roles include Advisory Board Member for IHS Markit - Carbon Meta-Registry and serving on the Advisory Board for Xpansiv. Previous experience encompasses positions in private equity, asset investments, and development finance, including a tenure at the World Bank. Grebien holds advanced degrees in Development Economics from Sciences Po and Business Administration from the University of Mannheim, complemented by a visiting scholarship in Economics at Brown University.
