Craig Ottinger has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Craig began their career as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Marathon Printing Incorporated in 1995, where they served in that role for over 17 years until 2013. In 2013, they transitioned to become the Director of Operations at Hightech Signs. Lastly, in 2019, they worked as a Zero Waste Station Captain for Chicago Event Management, specifically for the 2019 Shamrock Shuffle and Chicago Marathon events. During this role, they collaborated with the Sustainability Manager to coordinate event plans, manage volunteers, and ensure adherence to sustainability initiatives.

Craig Ottinger attended Texas State Technical College Waco from 1990 to 1992. During this time, they pursued an AAS degree in Audio Visual Production, with a focus on Educational/Instructional Media Design.
