David Courtemanche is an experienced trader currently employed at Highbridge Capital Management since July 2016. Prior to this role, David spent over a decade at Aristeia Capital, where responsibilities included reviving a failed European business in Convertibles and establishing the European Credit and Special Situations franchise. Notable accomplishments include significant investments and restructurings involving Depfa Bank, Glitnir Icelandic bank claims, and various financial institutions such as Lloyds Banking Group Plc and Royal Bank of Scotland Group Plc. David also held various positions at Aristeia Capital focusing on US Credit and Convertibles, having managed a $2bn portfolio and overseeing more than $1bn in hedged US Convertible securities. David's career began with a role as Settlements and Desk Analyst, where contributions included designing an allocation module. David holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from LIU Post, completed in 2003.
