Claas H. Nieraad is a seasoned professional in venture capital and advisory, currently serving as Founding Member and Co-Chair of the Board at Baltic Business Angels Schleswig-Holstein e.V. since January 2018. Nieraad is the Managing Partner at DeDrifft Ventures and the Venture Capital Lead at FUTURISER, as well as a Venture Partner at Vine Ventures Corporation. With a diverse background, Nieraad has held roles such as Partner & Faculty at futur/io Institute and Mentor & external Expert for various organizations including Airbus and Philips Health Innovation Port. Nieraad also served as Managing Director of Next Logistics Accelerator and was involved with the European Commission as an EASME Evaluation Expert and Startup Coach. Before these ventures, Nieraad was Managing Director at New Commercial Room GmbH, focusing on venture capital and advisory. Nieraad holds degrees in International Management and Finance from International Management School, INTERMAS, and California State University-San Bernardino.
