Sharon DeMerit is an experienced educator with a background in early childhood education and student affairs. Currently serving as an Associate Teacher at High Point Academy since August 2021, Sharon previously held the position of Teacher at the same institution from August 2020 to June 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a Substitute Teacher with the Alhambra Unified School District during the 2019-2020 academic year. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Southern California, a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Higher Education with an emphasis in Student Affairs at Purdue Global, expected to be completed in December 2023.
