Chris Rea has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Chris started their career as a fighter pilot in the USAF, serving in various roles and locations. After leaving the military, they worked as a pilot for United Airlines before joining Ciber as a Task Lead. Chris then transitioned to the US Air Force Reserve, where they served as a TG-10 Glider Instructor and later worked in the HQ NORAD Operations Center. In 2005, they joined Six & Geving as a VP - Surety and Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist, where they managed commercial insurance contracts and facilitated risk management for businesses. Most recently, in 2020, they became the Executive Vice President of Higginbotham.

Chris Rea attended the United States Air Force Academy from 1985 to 1989 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in International Relations and Affairs. In 2006, they obtained a certification in Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) from the Hartford School of Insurance.
