Bart Markus is a highly experienced professional currently serving as a Board Member and Chair at Orbex since February 2016, and as CEO of GAP Technology Holding since May 2005. Bart holds multiple leadership positions, including Chair at First Light Fusion, Ultimaker, NexWafe, and GlassPoint, Inc., as well as being Co-Founder and Chair at Hexagem AB. With a focus on technological innovation, NexWafe specializes in developing higher quality solar wafers through a direct epitaxy process. Bart also chairs Vernaio and ubiqu, while acting as Fund Advisor and member of ICOM at Innerproduct Partners. Bart holds an MBA in Finance from INSEAD and a Master of Science degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from the University of Twente.
