Cody R. Ellwanger, Esq. is currently an attorney at Plunkett Cooney, specializing in transportation and commercial law, while also serving as a magistrate for the 52-1 District Court. Prior to this, Cody was a partner at Hewson & Van Hellemont, P.C. and served as a judicial law clerk at the 52nd District Court. Cody’s legal journey began with a position as a paralegal at McGlynn Associates, PLC, followed by an internship at Dearborn Sausage Company, Inc. Cody earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Northwood University.
