Elana Kuflik is an experienced educator currently serving as the Third Grade Head Teacher at The Hewitt School since August 2023. Prior to this role, Elana worked as a Special Education Teacher for the NYC Department of Education from August 2019 to August 2023 and held the position of Head Teacher at Stevens Cooperative School during the 2018-2019 academic year. Elana also gained valuable experience as an Associate Teacher at Ethical Culture Fieldston School from September 2015 to June 2018. Earlier in the career, Elana worked as a paralegal at the Law Office of Jacalyn F. Barnett and completed internships in marketing and communications at various organizations, including MHA of Westchester, YES Network, and Step UP Management. Elana holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Syracuse University, along with a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
