Michaela Horňáková has a diverse work experience in various roles within the field of product design. Michaela started their career as a Project Manager at New Media Group in 2009, where they gained valuable experience managing projects. In 2012, they worked as an Intranet Webdesigner at IBM, where they conducted user behavior analysis and design audits to improve the interaction of the intranet homepage.
From 2013 to 2021, Michaela worked at Mediální skupina MAFRA as a Project Manager and Product Designer. During this time, they gained extensive experience working on projects such as iDNES.cz and Sport.iDNES.
In 2021, Michaela joined Česko.Digital as a Product Designer, where they contributed their design expertise. In the same year, they also freelanced as a Product Designer at Pan Zebřička, providing bespoke solutions to customers with a focus on simplicity, cleanliness, and user orientation.
Currently, Michaela is the Lead Product Designer at Heureka Group, responsible for leading product design efforts in nine countries within the CEE region. Michaela'smain focus is on B2B design, creating tailored products and solutions for business customers based on their needs and pain points. By working closely with stakeholders, they develop products that address complex problems and add value to their operations.
Michaela Horňáková earned their High School Diploma in Accounting and Business/Management from VOŠE a OA Kollárova from 2002 to 2006. Michaela then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Management at the Prague University of Economics and Business from 2007 to 2011. Following that, Michaela obtained their Master's degree in Management Information Systems, General from the same university from 2011 to 2013.
