Erin van Valkenburg has extensive experience in education, primarily focusing on Dutch language, history, and social studies. Erin currently serves as a Docent Nederlands (en geschiedenis) at Het Hooghuis since February 2023. Previously, Erin worked at Summa College as a Docent geschiedenis, Nederlands en maatschappijleer from August 2019 to January 2023 and at CSG Het Streek as a Docent geschiedenis from January 2019 to July 2019. Other roles include Vestigingscoördinator and Docent Rebound at Lyceo, and various teaching internships at Marnix College, Snow View English Boarding School, Stedelijke Scholengemeenschap Nijmegen, and Montessori College. Erin holds multiple degrees, including a Master’s degree in Docent Nederlands from Fontys University of Applied Sciences and two Master’s degrees from Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen, alongside a Bachelor of Education in Geschiedenis.
