Tom Richardson is an experienced professional in drilling and completions engineering with over 15 years at Hess Corporation, where the current role is Sr Manager of Drilling and Completions focused on Bakken operations. Previous positions at Hess include Project Manager for deepwater drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, Area Manager for Bakken operations leading multidisciplinary teams, and various team lead roles in Denmark and Malaysia. Prior to Hess, Tom worked at Shell as a Night Drilling Supervisor and Drilling Engineer, managing high-pressure well projects. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Bristol, a Master of Science from the University of Aberdeen, and an additional Master of Science in Well Design and Engineering from Robert Gordon University, complemented by training from Shell in well engineering.
