Anna Backhouse is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in therapeutic services, currently serving as the Director of Therapeutic Services at Hesley Group since June 2009. Previously held roles include Operations Manager for adults and Consultant Lead Speech and Language Therapist at the same organization. Prior to this, Anna was the Head of Speech and Language Therapy at Northumberland, Tyne & Wear NHS Mental Health Trust from June 2008 to June 2009, and served as Lead Speech and Language Therapist at Northern Counties College from 2007 to 2008. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Newcastle University and a Master of Arts in Linguistics from The University of Edinburgh.
