Peng Zhang is an Application Engineer with Hesai Technology since 2019. Prior to that, they were an Application Engineer with 科天 from 2018, a Graduate Research Assistant with West Virginia University from 2015, and a Test Engineer with Shanghai Institute of Measurement and Testing Technology from 2013. During their time with 科天, they provided customer application support, performed experiments to characterize tool performance, and developed recipes to model complex tool applications. At West Virginia University, they developed cellular sensors, explored novel insights into the molecular manipulation mechanisms of target biomarkers, and fabricated novel microfluidic modules for Lab-on-a-Chip integration. At Shanghai Institute of Measurement and Testing Technology, they conducted testing and calibration of instruments and researched novel calibration methods of ultrasonic level meters.
Peng Zhang studied Electrical Engineering at West Virginia University from 2015 to 2017. Peng then obtained an M.S. in Measurement & Metrology Technology and Instruments from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) between 2010 and 2013. Before that, they earned a B.E. in Measurement & Control Technology and Instruments from Tianjin University (TJU) between 2006 and 2010.
