Bright Owusu is an experienced planning enforcement and management professional with a robust background in urban planning. Currently serving as the Planning Enforcement and Appeals Team Leader at Hertsmere Borough Council since June 2018 and as the Principal Development Management & Enforcement Officer at Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council since November 2016, Bright leads a team to ensure compliance with development management and estate management regulations. Previous roles include Senior Planning Enforcement Officer and Planning Officer at the London Borough of Hackney, as well as Assistant Planning Compliance Officer at Broxbourne Borough Council. Bright holds a Master of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from Anglia Ruskin University and a Bachelor of Science in Planning from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
