Rob Valentine has a diverse and extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Rob started their career at Dick Smith Nissan as a Sales and Leasing Consultant from July 2000 to May 2002. Rob then took on the role of Internet Sales Manager from June 2002 to December 2004. In 2005, they moved to Dick Smith Nissan of Lexington, where they worked as a Finance Manager until May 2013, and then transitioned to become the New Car Sales Manager and Owner Loyalty Manager from May 2013 to January 2015. Since 2015, they have been working at Herndon Chevrolet, first as a Finance Manager and later promoted to Finance Director in November 2018.

Rob Valentine attended the University of South Carolina-Columbia from 1994 to 1999, where they studied Psychology and Sociology. In 1996, they also completed Basic Training at U S Army Fort Jackson. The following year, in 1997, they attended the Fort Meade Defense Information School to pursue a degree in Public Affairs with a focus on Photojournalism. Additionally, in 1998 and 1999, they were enrolled at the University of Maryland University College, studying Psychology.
