Jacob Silber serves as the Board Chair and CEO of Hermes Ventures Group since June 2018, focusing on consolidating fragmented businesses in under-invested sectors through a private equity-style strategy. Silber has held board member positions at Attribits and Encortex since May 2022 and June 2018 respectively, and previously worked as the Managing Director of Mount Oxford Ventures, where investments targeted technical innovations in information intelligence and bionics. Prior experience includes founding Tenizen and BRIGHTdriver, VP roles at HubAnalytics and Blu Homes, and equity analysis at Impala Asset Management. Silber holds an MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering and an MBA in Operations Management and Entrepreneurship from MIT, as well as an AB in Biology from Harvard University.
