Dr. Pavel Kilian serves as the Director of Architecture for Platform Location Services at HERE Technologies, where responsibilities include defining the structure and implementation of location services and leading a team of senior architects. Previous roles include Director and Chief Architect IoT, focused on the development of a digital Reality Index to support smart city initiatives, and Lead Enterprise Architect at Bayer Pharmaceuticals, where modernization of enterprise architecture in the R&D division was prioritized. Dr. Kilian has extensive experience in software architecture from positions at Siemens Healthcare, where leadership spanned various technical roles and involved overseeing large teams. Dr. Kilian earned a PhD and Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Brno University of Technology.
