Jay Hongsermeier has held a variety of roles in the past seven years. From 2015-2017, they were a Bartender/Server at Dino's Eastside Grille. In 2017, they were a Campaign Manager at Zealous United. From 2018-2020, they were a Market Partner-Chicago and Business Development at Toast, Inc. In 2020, they were an Inside Sales Representative at Turf Tank US. In 2021, they were a Midwest Field Engineer at Turf Tank. Currently, they are an Operations Manager at Herd of Zebras.

Jay Hongsermeier attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2010 to 2014, where they studied Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication. In December 2019, they obtained certifications in Learning Networking and Project Management Foundations from LinkedIn.
