Shirley Merritt-Young has extensive experience in the dental field, with over 23 years at Henry Schein Canada Inc. as a Field Sales Consultant since May 2000. Prior to this role, Shirley was a Teacher at Niagara College Canada International Division from September 2005 to May 2006, where instruction focused on Radiography, Anatomy, Dental Terminology, and Pharmacology for Dental Office Administration students. Earlier in Shirley's career, management experience was gained as a Practice Manager in a Dental Practice from December 1992 to April 2000, as well as foundational skills acquired as a Certified Dental Assistant at a Dental Clinic between May 1985 and May 1989. Shirley holds a CDA degree in Dental Assisting from Lorne Park, completed between 1983 and 1985.
