Terry Adamson is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Co-Chair on the Board of Directors at The Henry Luce Foundation since June 2022, Terry has been a member of The Carter Center's Board of Directors since January 1993. Additionally, Terry held significant positions at The Asia Foundation, including Chairman of the Board from 1995 to 1999, and is now the Chairman of the Board Emeritus. Notable past roles include Vice President of Global Law Affairs at Boeing from May 2016 to July 2020 and Chief Legal Officer at the National Geographic Society from 1998 to 2015, where other responsibilities included Executive Vice President and Secretary of the Board of Trustees. Terry also served as a partner in litigation at Kaye Scholer from 1992 to 1998. Academic qualifications include a BA in History from Emory University, a JD with distinction from Emory University School of Law, and a Fellowship at Harvard University's Institute of Politics.
