Michael Yarbrough currently serves as Chief Deputy at the Henry County Sheriff's Office, a position held since January 2021. Prior to this role, Michael Yarbrough had a distinguished career at the DeKalb County Police Department, where tenure spanned from January 1989 to December 2020, culminating in the role of Assistant Chief overseeing various divisions including Special Operations, Special Services, Criminal Investigation, and Uniform Divisions. Michael Yarbrough holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Liberty University and has furthered education through the FBI National Academy (Class 251, 2012) and Six Sigma training in 2022, achieving a Six Sigma Green Belt.
